More art can be seen on my print site.
Welcome to my old website. I never completely dismantled it, so I decided to transform it into this brief portfolio page. This site highlights some of the illustrative art I've been creating for the past 20 years (2 decades - yikes). Most of my art involves physical paintings, but I branch a little over into the digital world sometimes.
Common Questions:
- How long does it take you to complete a piece?
If I count all the thought process - a long time. But just painting....average 4-10 hours.
- Where does your inspiration come from?
Simple, life. The question should really be how did you develop this ongoing creative side. And the secret is this (drumroll) - being bored and alone in thought a lot both as a kid and adult. Imagination flourishes best there.
- What "style" do you call your art?
It's illustrative in style, but if you want to give it an official title - I would call it American Individualism. Be prepared for my subject matter to change completely - but nature, wildlife, space, robots, and girls have been regulars.
